Cheltenham Festival of Racing 2013

The meeting started off with Champion Hurdle Day, with the feature race being run over 3200 metres and carrying $580,000 prize money(AUD). Hurricane Sky was the early pick with the online bookmakers, and didn‘t disappoint.

The World Hurdle highlights day three. The race comprises of 4800 metres of pure grit and determination. The prized event of the carnival is the Cheltenham Gold Cup, run over 5200 metres and carrying just over $800,00 prizemoney (AUD). The winner will have to jump 22 hurdles and remain the last horse standing.
