Britain is home to innumerable world heritage sites and traditional sea side holiday destinations; it’s also home to one of the world’s most famous movie icons. Now James Bond is coming back.
The forthcoming 23rd instalment of the franchise - starring Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem and Dame Judi Dench - was expected to shoot in locations across the globe including Bali and China, but budget cuts means Turkey is now the only other country the movie will visit.
A number of British beaches will be used including Bognor Regis on the south coast in addition to Pinewood Studios.
A source added: "As well as Pinewood's incredible facilities, the UK has some stunning beaches, particularly along the south coast near Bognor and parts of Wales. While Bognor is hardly the most exotic of locations, it is important for the franchise that they support British industry, and give something back. Everyone is confident this will be one of the best Bonds ever."
'Skyfall' has already begun shooting on location in London including Canary Wharf and Charing Cross, and the film - being directed by Sam Mendes - is due for release in November.
Alfa Travel has long supported Great British tourist destination like Bognor Regis with coach holidays; taking in the breathtaking views of Britain and Western Europe.
If you fancy seeing if you can catch a glimpse of our most famous 007 spy then why not take a stay at the Royal Norfolk Hotel, a magnificent Georgian hotel situated on the sea front, very close to the pier.
